The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics is organizing the second Cyber Defense Day at the UQAC social center on May 7, 2025 with its partners from the Research Chair in Cyber Defense and Protection of Personal Information. 

On the program :

  • Workshops on the most innovative projects from the cohort of the Master of Computer Science program – cybersecurity profile
  • Presentation of research project by students of the Research Chair in Cyber Defense and Protection of Personal Information.
  • Workshop on cryptographic methods and the impact of quantum computing on cryptographic modern methods.

  • 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Student project presentations

  • 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Cryptography and quantum computing workshop
