The Research Chair in Cyber Defense at the UQAC Research Day

The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics is organizing the first Desjardins Cyber Defense Day at the UQAC social center on May 1, 2024 with its partners from the Research Chair in Cyber Defense and Protection of Personal Information. In the program :

• Workshops on the most innovative projects from the cohort of the Master of Computer Science program – cybersecurity profile
• Conferences presented by Desjardins Group experts for all people who are passionate about cybersecurity. It’s an excellent opportunity to acquire new knowledge, develop your professional network and discover student projects!
• The first Desjardins-UQAC CTF: a competition bringing together students and members of the Desjardins Movement cyber defense team! Our CTF will offer a multitude of IT security challenges, covering diverse areas and accessible to all levels. Exciting events, ranging from exploiting vulnerabilities to cyber defense to analyzing cyber incidents, are offered in abundance, ensuring a diverse and enriching experience for all participants! Prizes will be distributed to students who stand out during the CTF!
